Maintenance Manager:

  • Coordinates maintenance operations and ensures that all day to day work orders and or guest complaints generated at the resort are handled quickly and professionally
  • Monitors ongoing projects at assigned property and ensures that they are completed professionally and in a timely manner
  • Schedules and performs routine/preventative/emergency maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment; works with other managers to schedule and coordinate inspections and repairs
  • Tracks inventory and required materials for the maintenance of the property; orders needed items and follows up on the status of deliveries
  • Communicates with supervisors/staff and resort staff to solve problems and develop long term solutions
  • Ensures the satisfaction of all guests by implementing and maintaining proper guest/owner relation programs

Supervision Duties:

  • Reviews and evaluates work methods and procedures and meets with management staff to identify and resolve problems
  • Assesses and monitors workload, identifies opportunities for improvement and implements changes
  • Selects, trains, motivates, and evaluates personnel; provides or coordinates staff training; works with employees to correct deficiencies; and implements discipline and termination procedures
  • Ensures accuracy in reporting of employee hours worked; schedule vacations and paid time off; ensures the facility has adequate staff coverage in maintaining the centers integrity
